Admission: Rules & Regulation 


 

CourseBachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.):

Duration: 4 years

Intake Capacity: 60 (Inclusive of 15% management quota)

Eligibility Criteria: The minimum qualifications required for admission to the course is as decided and communicated from time to time by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra State.  

The general eligibility criteria are as follows:

For First Year B. Pharm.: Candidates should have passed the HSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English or Physics, Chemistry, Maths (PCM) and English or Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths and English. Should have secured minimum 50 % marks (45% for backward class candidates from Maharashtra) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, Maths (PCM) taken together and passed in same sitting.

For Direct Admission to Second Year B. Pharm.: The candidates should have passed HSC examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics (or both) from Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Maharashtra state or equivalent and Diploma course in Pharmacy (as ER 91 Regulations of PCI), from an institution approved by PCI and conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education or Diploma in Pharmacy recognized as equivalent to the Diploma awarded by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education in First class ( 60%) in one attempt. (Candidates who have not offered Mathematics at 12th Std. shall have to appear and pass in the subject Remedial Maths during the course.)

Reservation Policy: The Reservation seats are available as per the rules of Govt. of Maharashtra.
Selection Procedure: The selection of the candidates is done as per the guideline issued by DTE, Maharashtra State and strictly on the basis of merit.
Fee Structure: Fee Structure is decided by Shikshan Shulka Samiti, Maharashtra State.  The Fees Structure is revised every year by the authority.

 

CourseMasters of Pharmacy: Pharmaceutics & Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance:

Duration: 2 years

Intake Capacity: 15 per course

Eligibility Criteria: B. Pharm with First Class and Valid GPAT score.
